As you know, Friday Fab in Fives are paper crafting projects you can complete in five minutes and while most of them are fun and cheery, this sympathy card came together so quickly I thought it was worthy of being included. After all, sympathy cards are often needed so having a few cards – or at least some quick ideas for them – on hand is helpful.
Let’s take a look –
This card can be adapted to any color scheme and is also a project that lends itself to easy mass production – change the greeting and you can really use it for any occasion. Just stamp your blossoms from Too Kind in Versamark and emboss with Clear Embossing Powder. Then using a sponge, buff on a little color around the embossed blooms; add your stems and greeting, tie on some ribbon – I used the gorgeous Seam Binding – and it’s ready to go.
As much as we don’t like the occasion that requires us to send a sympathy card, having a few easy and beautiful ones on hand means that we can spend more time on the message inside. So make a few – you will be so glad you have them at the ready!
